I would like to thank everyone that participated and gave interest in this project. It is now closed.
The purpose of this project is to gather data that will show how much one's ability to correctly identify aromas changes from parent to child. The data will enhance the understanding of biochemistry, medical analysis, neurochemistry, and how they relate to each other.
We are surveying 1,000 data collectors and their families by sending them a pack with a smelly cotton ball.
Instructions: The data collectors and their family members are instructed to smell the cotton ball and enter their name, relation to the data collector, email, and what smell they perceive to be on the cotton on the website survey given in email after entry.
Those who participate will learn how the variation in their DNA effects their ability to smell and the chemistry of aroma compounds. We will also send you profiles of aroma compounds via email.
To order a pack please input your information into the respective fields of the order form below.
All personal information will be kept confidential. Only the data will be published.
To participants: If you order the kit please take the survey provided in the confirmation email. Thank you.
This project will be from 4/1/2015 to 7/1/2016
